Hello, my name is Jack Keathley-Helms! I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas. I am passionate about developing and telling under-represented stories and leveraging past experiences to guide me into an exciting future.

I currently write album reviews for the KJHK Student Radio at the University of Kansas as well as a variety of side projects. I am currently the kitchen Manager at Logies on Mass in downtown Lawrence. 

Born and raised in Lawrence I am a passionate runner having been a competitive runner for the past 12 years (and counting!) having just completed my first half-marathon in the spring of 2023. I am also an avid music enthusiast being a DJ since the spring of 2022. I hope to have a future career that allows me to pursue one (or both) of these passions!

• Trained and developed current members of the Dean's assistant team.
• Helped plan, set up, and break down several large-scale events throughout the year including graduations and board meeting events.
• Developed relationships with staff and faculty members to further engage with them on various Business School topics.

Kitchen Manager - Logies on Mass. | November 2022 – Current

• Led a kitchen team in a fast-paced college bar and grill setting, ensuring efficient food production and timely service during peak hours.
• Ensured consistent adherence to all health and safety regulations, prioritizing food safety protocols within the kitchen.
• Fostered a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork within the kitchen staff.
